A matching gift by your employer maximizes your donation and increases your generosity. Contact your Human Resources Department to inquire about your company’s matching gift program.
Stock Gifts
Stock donations are another way you can support LEAVEN. To ensure that your gift is promptly and properly administered, please contact us prior to transferring the shares so we can provide you with our broker and transfer instructions. If you are making a gift at year-end, we encourage you to initiate the transfer no later than December 20th to ensure your gift is completed, and tax deduction secured, by the end of the year.
LEAVEN Endowment Funds
To ensure help will be available to meet the emergency needs of individuals and families both today and in the future, LEAVEN has been successfully building an endowment since 1991 with the goal of helping support client assistance and offset administrative expenses. The future financial stability of LEAVEN will, in part, be secured by those who pledge support through designated endowment contributions today and planned gifts for tomorrow.
The Legacy Society honors donors who pledge or donate $1,000 or more to the endowment or who name LEAVEN in their will. Planned giving provides tax advantages and is an important part of estate planning. By providing for LEAVEN in your will, you can ensure a legacy of caring in the community that will last as long as the need exists.
