Faith communities help us transform hardship into hope
“As a church, we desire to compassionately respond to the great needs of those going through challenging seasons of life. We also know we need to practice good, responsible stewardship with the funds given to the church through tithes and offerings. At Valley Baptist Church, we have found that giving through LEAVEN for the care of those who are not connected to our church is a great way to fulfill both of these objectives.
When I came to the church in 2000, Valley already had LEAVEN in the budget. I remember someone explaining to me the ministry of LEAVEN and thinking, “What a wonderful resource for the Fox Valley community.” As I have learned more about LEAVEN over the years, I have only grown in my appreciation and respect for the organization. It is with great confidence and joy that we continue to support this vital ministry”.
