In-Kind Donations

stpeter_christmas2

Members from St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church brought their annual gift of over 200 Christmas gift boxes for our clients’ children. They have been donating gift boxes to LEAVEN for over 10 years. Our clients are touched by the generosity of others during this difficult time of year. Thank you!

Many businesses, churches, youth groups, or other community groups often seek ways to help the needy in our community. Donations of goods and gift cards help our clients in ways that go beyond our usual assistance. We have an on-going need for:

  • Diapers, all sizes (but mostly sizes 5 and 6 needed)
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Laundry detergent
  • Antibacterial wipes
  • Toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss
  • Grocery store gift certificates
  • Copy paper

Donations of professional services such as electrical and plumbing repairs, cleaning services, and office equipment repairs keep LEAVEN’s administrative costs extremely low enabling greater financial assistance to our clients.

Company Matching Gifts

A matching gift by your company or organization increases your generosity to LEAVEN by adding the matching amount to your gift at no additional expense to you. It is easy to make a matching gift: simply contact your Human Resources Department and inquire about your company’s matching employee donations policy. Many companies have an on-line process, please be sure to choose LEAVEN as the recipient of your gift . If paperwork is sent in please submit all supporting documentation to:

“Thank you so much for the diapers for my baby and the basic necessities such as toothpaste and shampoo that you were able to provide my family. It is a very humbling experience to know that I cannot afford these right now. But you were there to help!” [LEAVEN Client]
